Vacancy: Shop Sales and Assistant Manager – Erith Store

Wellingtons Electrical is looking for an ambitious Shop Sales and Assistant Manager to join our growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 3-4 years' electrical retail experience who is ready to take the next step in their career and play a key role in the leadership and development of our Erith store.

The role includes:

• Supporting the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of the business
• Acting as Manager on the Manager's days off
• Leading, motivating and developing the sales team
• Helping drive sales performance and customer service standards
• Participating in weekly sales and marketing meetings
• Working closely with the Store Manager on strategic initiatives and business development
• Contributing ideas to help grow the business
• Supporting staff training and development

You’ll be:

• Experienced in electrical retail with a strong understanding of appliances and customer service
• A confident leader who can motivate and support a team
• Commercially aware and results driven
• Strong software skills and capabilies
• A strong communicator who enjoys working with people
• Able to lift and transport heavy goods
• Interested in social media and marketing (a bonus, as we're continually evolving our social media presence)
• Comfortable working independently and taking responsibility when required

Essential Requirements:

• 3-4 years' experience in electrical retail
• Full UK driving licence
• Availability for regular weekend working

Vacancy: Admin & Credit Controller – Erith Store (In-house)

Hours: 9:30am–3:30pm (6 hours per day), 30 hours per week
Flexibility: We can be flexible around school runs and personal schedules
Holiday: Pro rata

We’re looking for a reliable, organised Admin & Credit Controller to join the Wellingtons Electrical team in-store. Accuracy is key, and you’ll be supporting the Store Manager and website team while also being customer-facing in our friendly shop environment.

The role includes:

• Chasing money owed and managing credit control
• Raising and managing invoices on our EPOS system
• Working with databases and maintaining accurate records
• EPOS and website admin (full training provided)
• Supporting the Store Manager and website team
• General admin duties as needed
• Customer-facing, welcoming customers into the store

• Highly accurate and organised
• Confident with systems, data and admin tasks
• Friendly, approachable and good with people
• A team player who supports others
• Happy working in a busy shop environment
