The Elica NT-SW-LUX-BA NikolaTesla Switch Lux Evo is a premium 80cm induction venting hob that seamlessly combines powerful cooking performance with advanced integrated extraction. Finished in elegant black glass with stainless steel detailing, this sophisticated appliance delivers both contemporary design and cutting-edge kitchen technology.

The hob features four induction cooking zones, each offering up to 3.7 kW of power for fast and precise heat control. Two bridge zones allow adjacent cooking areas to be combined, creating larger cooking surfaces ideal for oversized cookware such as griddles or oval pans while maintaining even heat distribution.

At the centre of the hob is an integrated extraction system that captures steam, vapours and cooking odours directly at the source. With airflow up to 620 m³/h in boost mode and suction speeds reaching 5.1 m/s, the system provides powerful ventilation while maintaining low noise levels from just 34 dB(A). The appliance achieves an excellent A++ energy efficiency rating, ensuring efficient performance with reduced energy consumption.

This model also includes a back aspiration recirculating kit, allowing the extraction system to operate in recirculation mode when external ducting is not available. Air is filtered through high-performance grease, odour and moisture filters before being returned to the kitchen, providing effective ventilation while maintaining a clean installation without external ducting.

The intuitive direct slider touch controls provide precise adjustment with nine power levels plus booster for both cooking and extraction. Additional smart cooking functions enhance everyday convenience, including Melting Mode for gently melting ingredients such as butter or chocolate without overheating, Warming Mode for delicate preparations and keeping dishes warm, and Fast Boiling to rapidly bring water to the boil.

The intelligent Airmatic NikolaTesla system automatically adjusts the extraction power according to the amount and type of cooking fumes detected, optimising air quality and energy consumption while cooking.

The extraction system uses advanced Long Life Filter++ technology, combining grease, odour and moisture filtration in regenerable filters designed to last up to three years. This helps reduce maintenance while also minimising environmental impact.

Designed with convenience in mind, the hob also includes features such as Pot Self Detection, Stop&Go, Recall, timer, child lock, delay switch off, maintenance alarm and the dedicated Tasty Fry function for precise temperature control during frying.

The smooth glass surface allows cookware to slide easily across the hob and makes cleaning simple. A practical spill collection system with drainage valve also helps manage accidental liquid spills around the extraction area.
