At the heart of the hood is Elica’s distinctive 2-point extraction system, positioned in both the central and lower sections of the appliance. This intelligent layout improves the capture of cooking vapours and fumes, helping deliver excellent extraction performance while maintaining quiet and energy-efficient operation.

The hood features intuitive capacitive touch controls integrated directly into the glass panel, providing a clean and seamless appearance while allowing easy adjustment of the three speeds plus booster setting to match the intensity of your cooking.

For a more connected kitchen, the MAJ-AT-90-BLK includes Bluetooth connectivity. When paired with a compatible Elica induction hob, the hood can automatically adjust its extraction power based on the cooking zones in use. It can also be controlled remotely via an app or compatible voice assistant for added convenience.

The hood also includes dimmable LED lighting, providing clear illumination of the cooking area while allowing you to adjust the brightness to suit the atmosphere of your kitchen.

Maintenance is straightforward thanks to the hood’s removable and washable filters. Long-life odour filters can last up to three years, reducing the need for frequent replacements and helping to minimise environmental impact.

A built-in maintenance alarm indicator alerts you when the grease or odour filters have reached their maximum saturation level, letting you know when they need cleaning or replacing to maintain optimal performance.

The MAJ-AT-90-BLK also supports back aspiration, allowing ducting directly through the rear of the hood. This enables a cleaner installation with fewer visible ducts or chimney sections, preserving the hood’s streamlined aesthetic.
